Having such a time with the push ups. I tend to do many of them half way. I also increased my weights and lowered my reps so for instance last time I would use a 10 lb. weight and do over 10 reps, this time I used a higher weight and did 8 reps, for muscle-building.

I’m up to 22 (on the first pass through, first set) from ONE. Yup, ONE.
I did the same thing as far as dropping my reps and upping my weight. It seems to be working well.

That is great! Wow, from 1. What was your starting weight?
Today was back & biceps and I am doing 8-10 reps with the fifteen pounders. I hope to pick it up to twenty pounders when I can do too many on the fifteen pounders.

Well, it was 3lbs, but I could have done more. The one thing where I consistently fail is that I probably don’t “Bring it”. Especially in the beginning, coming from a ZERO fitness level, I didn’t want to be so miserable that I quit. So I started very light… I’m doing 17s for biceps… Which I actually don’t have… I hold a 15 and a 2lb ankle weight stetched over it.
The pushups impress me to pieces, especially since ‘back in the old days” I was a US Marine and I’m not sure I could do 22 then either!
